out of gas
I have a 1985 c20 the gas gauge in the dash does not work I put a new tank and sending unit in and the ground is good I do not know where to get a new replacement gauge I was thinking of maybe the dealer thank s for your help chevygearheads !

I got mine at Classic Parts for about $50 + shipping. I did the same thing you did on my dual tank 83 C20, which is why I always advise everyone with a fuel gauge problem to change the fuel gauge first - easier and cheaper than changing the sending unit(s).

Check the ohms first on cluster to see if indeed it is the gauge.
