What's it Worth

I moved to Ohio and my blazer is sitting in storage in FL. Parents have some bills and maybe I could help them out for the right price.

90% rust free 2wd
rear 5% of bed would need repair.
All other panels were good or fixed.
Top of winshield has rust.
Rear welded roll pan
Front Fiberglass pan (some frame rail was cut off for fitment)
Shaved doors, gas filler, antenna

Engine is a 350/350 combo that has not ran in a few years since an HEI install I lost interest in when my son was born.

Probably needs a painless wiring kit as there was a short or 2 in the lights.

Pretty solid truck with a nice hard top. HALF top is not included.
Original seats (need redone)

Any ideas? any questions?

Re: What's it Worth

I'd guess in the $6 - 7K range. Get it running and and slap some 20" rims on it and you can probably sell it for $12K.

I'm not with said truck since I moved so working on it is not possible. I think I would move on 7k offer. I may post her up in the for sale section but I really do not want to give it away ya know.

Re: What's it Worth

As I'm sure you know, a running/driving truck is always worth more & easier to sell...so if the option's there get it running at least.

Pulling off the 1/2 top is a bad idea IMO if you really want to sell it, that alone would bring a lot of interest.

Or at least don't post pics of it with the 1/2 top included if it's NOT included....

I know it's irritating to see for sale posts with a cool truck, and a half-dozen items that aren't included at the offered price.

Here in the South, thats a 3500-4000 truck. If it didn't have the rust, welded in pan, cut frame rails, shaved items, need wiring, and included the half top it might bring more.

Re: What's it Worth

I hear ya guys. My dad is giving me his cooler finished 2wd Blazer and the half cab was harder to find than any blazer. I will be keeping the half cab forever. Since my dad is getting out of the Blazer business i figure maybe sell mine to help him out.

Re: What's it Worth

Here is an old thread with a few better pics. The truck has smaller rear tires now otherwise it has just sat in the garage / storage so it looks the same otherwise. You can see it's pretty straight.

Please don't revive that old post.
