'73-'91 Fleetside long bed differences?

I understand cosmetically the fleetside long bed looked the same from 73-87(91) except for the addition of the fuel door in 1979. Also I think 73-74(?) tailgates are special?

Other than those things, are there any differences in long beds from one truck to another? Would a '91 square body style bed bolt onto my '73? (theoretically) Or would it require more modification than that?

You can set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill,
and I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe de Ville.

Other than fuel doors and tailgates, they are identical. Bed floor ribs changed slightly over the years, something to consider if needing to patch the floor.
