4x4 Conversion to 2wd with a 454
Hello I am in the process of doing a 4x4 concersion to a 2wd. I started with a 71 blazer no options truck. Took out the 350 and put in a LS6 454. I removed the front clip from the 71. Now I have a 68 front clip that I plan on putting on tonight. This is my first time doing a project like this so any help would be apreciated. Here are some pics.

Keep the pictures coming! Did you modify the firewall or did you mount the engine in the forward (2wd) position?

I mounted the engine in the 2wd position. I used a 77' front end. It was kind of a pain but it is done.

Right now it is still running leaf springs in the rear. I shaved the perches and welded on new ones to mount the axle on top of the springs droping the rear. Now I am getting a set of springs and drop a arms for the front to level it out.

I got rid of the 71' front clip now and I just picked up the 68 front clip to install. I will be installing the front clip this weekend. I will put some pics up then.
