Question Gas pedal needs up grading

Anyone change the original gas pedal (mounted to the floor) to something that is smoother and not mounted to the floor? What did you use? and how did you mount it? I am using a throttle cable not the original push rod.

You mean changing from the type that snaps onto the floor and rests against the rod....and going to something that is free-hanging from the firewall?

Well, "LIFE" got in my way and the truck was pushed to the back of the shelf. Now my plate is getting less full, and I am gearing up to get rolling again. Even have the wife & kids backing the idea!?!?!
