Fuel price ?
Last night i topped off my tank in my S10 & it only took 13.5 gallons and i paid 22 bux @1.63.9$ per gal. for reg. unleded
Any way i started thinking back to when i was a kid what was the cheapest gas price i could remember my dad paying and i can recall 24.9 cent's per gallon in 1967 in North Miami Fla. And in 1976 when i started driving gas was around 55.9 cent's per gallon. I'm so glad i dont have to put premium in my S10 @ 1.95.9 per gal. Whats the cheapest price's you can remember? |

I remember my dDad complaining about paying $.57 per gallon in the 1970s well before I began driving.

$1.529/gallon here. Not too long ago it dropped back down below $1 for a short time, we were living it up then.

$2.08 for 92oct. premium around the corner from where I work--downtown Seattle. At my house which is 42 miles away it is 1.78 for 87oct. About the same in both but because where I live the 89oct. jumps .20cents/gal instead of the normal .10cents...
Sucks to live here right now.

Currently in the Portland area regular unleaded ranges from $1.79/gal to $1.96/gal. Back in the early 70's it was around $.27/gal I think....it's so long ago.

Quote ( Whats the cheapest price's you can remember? )
10 gallons for a dollar and sometimes you even got green stamps with that . This was in the massachusetts & Rhode Island gas price war which happened between the major brands probably around 1950 or so . |

the cheapest here right now is about $1.519 for 87 oct. and 93 oct is running between $1.75 and $1.95 depending on where you go. I remember back a few years ago when it was just under a dollar but I think that's the cheapest I have seen it since I moved up here.
