Re: dana rear end
I don't know anything about the #'s, so my advice would be call and ask if what it came out of. If it came out of one of these trucks (Chev or GMC), find out if it is a coil or leaf and how many lugs the axles have. If it has the same specs as yours it will fit, if not it will require some modification to make it fit. If you have more detailed info it would help, because there are alot of Dana rears in many configurations. Also what is your truck, coil or leaf? Hope this gets you on the right track.

Re: dana rear end
X2! You need a low more info. And if you found a drop in replacement (like I did), you will still need to shorten the drive shaft and use a U joint the fits the Dana yoke on one side and the drive shaft yoke on the other.
I found a 3/4 drive shaft from a truck with an original D60 8 lug. I left the front section in place and removed the rear section from my truck and installed the "new" rear section from the 3/4 Ton. (Side one out, slide one in. Thanks Longhornman)) This got me matching U-joint sizes and almost the right length. I still need to cut about 3/4" out somewhere.
