differential housing switch
could i switch my 71 chevy differential housing with leaf springs, with one from a 79 chevy? both trucks have 5 bolt wheels.

use a tapemeasure and see what the spacing is on the leaf mounting pads, also overall width

I think the spacing is a little narrower on the 79, I think the leaves are wider too. You could do it but prolly need to weld new saddles on.
