they are a 5X4.75 pattern and trucks r 5X5 wood b a good reason not to run them

Re: Anybody running buick wheels?
i worked in a scrap yard in the eighties and we use 67-72 trucks for deliveries. All of them had the big Buick rallies on them and they looked good. I was thinking about this a couple of weeks ago, that i haven't seen them lately

Re: Anybody running buick wheels?
I ran full sized Poncho wheels on my 69 for a while, but the only prob I saw was that the full sized cars only offered a 6" wide wheel(BOP). A couple of my favorite choices on ralley wheels were the old "vette ralley" (aftermarket only on a 5x5 pattern), or the truck ralleys, that I run. I run a 15x8 rear, with a 255/70 tire, & a 15 x 6.5 front with a 225/75 tire. Cheap @ the swap meets.....I paid 25 bones a pc for 2 6.5 van ralleys (bare,no chrome or caps). These were new van 'take offs". On the rear, I picked up an nos 15x8 for 40. The other 15x8 was basically a new wheel(the spare that was under an old truck). I got that 1 for 40 bones(bare), & you could see that it had NEVER been mounted on the truck(the paint wasnt scuffed on the lug seats. As set of decent JY trim rings, & a free set of 3 bar spinners(thanks to my bro), a little Hammertight paint& it works for me. The oldest kid trys to tell me that I need billet wheels on that old truck....no bubba, I did 4 swap meets to get what I wanted, & they are stayin on that old truck At any rate , I am sure you can get the Buick wheels that you want, but they will be a tad pricey aftermarket....but you have to love what you build crazy Al
