Red interior or is it maroon?

This red interior has me stumped. In the catalogs they only list RED and it looks like a bright RED. But I've seen many trucks (69) that had what appeared to be maroon colored dash pads, arm rests and seats. Very dark red at the very least.

Was there both a regular red and a maroon color interior on these trucks?

I cant tell you the years but yes there is a red and a maroon interior. I have seen the repro reds on rides and they are awesome. I have a 69 parts truck that has the maroon interior, its way different than the regular red.

And i believe the maroon was available in 69 only.

My 68 has maroon interior.

The maroon was '69-only.There was the 67/68 darker red,then bright red in 70-72.'69 had paint colors no other year had,too.Their door panels are unique as well...and not reproduced.

my dads 70 is a custom and it has a maroon dash pad but every thing else was 70 the door panels were red the visors seat.... also my dads 70 was made sometime in january thanks to one part of the paper under the seat and the original parking lenses say 69 so maybe the dash pad was a carry over huh
