A/C Actuators - Cowl and passenger Vent
Anyone know a good place to buy the A/C Actuator for the passenger side vent and the actuator and shut off valve for the cowl?
Also, for a non a/c to a/c conversion, do I mount the actuator to the original vent door, or is it a different type of vent door that I need for a/c? |

Re: A/C Actuators - Cowl and passenger Vent
Are these items necessary to operate the a/c and heater? What would I be missing if I didn't add the actuators?

Re: A/C Actuators - Cowl and passenger Vent
LMC Has the actuators and the outside door that goes in the cowl. The linkage for the vent door is mounted to a regular door as used in non AC or AC trucks.
If you had the door for the cowl and a way to hold it in position then you could manually operate the AC and heater. The vent door is closed for heating and open for outside air or recirculating the cold air from the AC. The outside door in the cowl is open for outside air and for heating. It is closed for recirculating the cold air from the AC. The actuators make the moves automatically when you move the levers. Jim
