*Back up for sale! Proceeds are going towards 5-year wedding anniversary vacation with my wife (don't tell her, she doesn't know yet!)*

I have for sale the engine out of my truck.

It is a GM Performance 350 290HP crate engine with (per previous owner) 7K miles on it. Engine runs very well. Engine link: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-12499529/

Installed on the engine is an Edelbrock Performer intake and 600 CFM carb. Link to similar kit here: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CMB-03-0077/ The ignition will be complete with HEI distributor and plug wires.

The engine will be basically turn-key. The only things I am not going to include are headers, and flywheel.

The only reason I am selling it is because I had parts lined up to build an engine when I bought a truck, and the complete truck I bought was a better deal than a roller would have been.

The engine is currently installed in my truck, and is available to be heard run. (I will try to post a video when it stops raining here).

Willing to deliver anywhere within a 5-hour radius of Bakersfield, CA. This should cover anywhere from San Francisco/Sacramento down to San Diego.

I am asking $1250 OBO for everything. If interested, or if you'd like more information, please post a message in here.

Thats a great deal for a turn key engine ,it sounds just like the one in my wifes 72 Chevelle convertible .I wish you were on the other coast .Good luck with the sale .

If I find a taker, I'm keeping the intake and carb for the new motor...... I'd like to put Vortecs on but I have a set of 041s on the shelf ready to go.

If I get Vortecs I'll keep it in mind....

I shot a video as well, but apparently the sound no longer works on my camera. All I had was a video of the throttle linkage moving. I'll try to borrow my brother's camera to get a good video.

Is it still under warrenty? What is the date code on the bellhousing boss? Will you ship it? Is it Made in Mexico?? do you have any pictures?? how much is it minus the carb, intake & dist.?? Am I first in line for it?? Very very interested.

Yes, you're first in line, but I would prefer not to hassle with shipping it.

Previous owner installed when the 327 wore out, I don't know when this happened. I assume it is out of warranty. Per PO, only has 7K miles on it, but I have no way to verify.

The date code & serial # would sure help... & if you can come up with any documation at all confirming it only has 7,000 miles on it verses 75,000 or more. I may be takeing a big roadtrip so would really like to know.

I have no documentation, and no way to get ahold of the previous owner (he sold the truck to get money for down payment on a house, they have since moved).

The crate engine was installed, then the truck got backed into in a parking lot, and the guy parked it.
