New Tach install
I know this has been covered extensively, but I did this voer the weekend and thought I would share...it has a mini shift light built into the tach...I really like it.

That's sweet, is that a 3 and 5/8 inch tach. If so, did it fit with out a fight? I have one strapped to the column right now with the shift light built in. Let me know how you did that.

Hey GMC....got your second post...sorry.
It is a 3 and 1/2 Sunpro Powerline tach (CP2010) and I mounted it by installing it from the front. It is a bit of a friction fit...wiht it pushed in as far and tight as possible, I used a large hose clamp on the back tightened against the bezel to keep it it place. I obviously has to carefully cut the plastic lens and metal housing but other than that, it was fairly simple.
