Rerouting the cowl vent tube
Has anyone filled in the hole on the firewall where the cowl vent tube runs out and redirected it under the dash and out between the right fender and the inner fender? I have filled the hole and will soon be looking to see the best spot to drill through.

Re: Rerouting the cowl vent tube
I did the same thing, I just have not re-routed the drain hose yet. I was just thinking of drilling the hole somewhere by the tranny tunnel. I wanted to keep the most direct rout from the vent staright down.
But like I said, I still need to do mine. Marc

Re: Rerouting the cowl vent tube
I would like to keep the hose as invisable as possible by running it under the dash over to the side and then down only as much as necessary to put it between the inner and outer fenders. I have seen it done that way but can't remember exactly where the hole was drilled.

Re: Rerouting the cowl vent tube
I like that idea, I would just want to make sure I didn't have any problem with the water backing up our having a harder time to drain.
Plus on mine, I will have a center counsle so I should not have an issue hidding it even if I run it straight down. Marc
