10 bolt 8.5 inch

Truck is an 85 Chevy swb. I have a 496 around 625-650 hp. Trans is a th400 with coan 3800 stall. What all needs to be done to my 10 bolt to hold th power? I bought an auburn posi last night for 50 its 28 spline though. I was hoping a good set of axles and girdle to make it work but second guessing it. TIA

Re: 10 bolt 8.5 inch

I was told to have the axle tubes welded to the housing and to buy some MW axles and C-clip eliminators or Ford ends.
