Front and rear chrome bumpers
I am looking to buy new front and rear chrome bumpers for my 70 burb, who has the best price. All I really know about are LMC and Brothers. Thanks for any help.

Re: Front and rear chrome bumpers
If you can wait till April and dont mind driving to Portland you can get a great deal on new bumpers @ Portland swap meet. There are vendors inside the Expo buildings selling new 67-72 bumpers at a great price (seems like around 120 bucks). Obviously there are no shipping charges involved. If you want OEM quality bumpers (IE thicker steel) there are usually a couple of booths outside who are selling these. These bumpers cost more but are original bumpers that have been rechromed. There will be a core charge if you cant supply a good "core". You may also consider Summit Racing. I think they are selling the Goodmark line. I think they offer free shipping as well. There may be an oversize fee though. -Brian

Re: Front and rear chrome bumpers
Try "The Truck Shop" in California, or "Classic Parts" in Missouri. They have huge selections and WAAAY better pricing than LMC.

Re: Front and rear chrome bumpers
I bought a front and rear for my Burb (they were Goodmark's) from a guy who sells on ebay for a little over $300 shipped last year. He met the lowest price at the time I could find on ebay or anywhere. His ebay store is Tamraz's Parts Discount Warehouse. He currently has a rear for $163.50 w/free shipping and a front for $164.95 plus $31.50 shipping. Find out the best you can do and then also contact some of the Board vendors here to see if they can match. NOTE: this person is no relation to me nor do I have anything to do with his business.

i HAD MINE RECHROMED BY SILVER KING IN Norfolk Virgina. Talk to Lance I use to race with him and his wife long time back. His prices are not the cheapest but Ill put his work against anyone anywhere. His chrome is super slick and heavier than anyone else Ive found. Tell Him Chris Mc bride sent you, hopefully he will not hold it against you.

Re: Front and rear chrome bumpers
I ended up getting the front one off a craigslist ad for 75 and then Brothers had the rear one on sale for 135 so I ordered it the other day; they had the best price I could find.
