Any interested in a bolt on 4 link system?? A friend of mine has just completed a 4 link kit that is completely bolt on. It is a triangulated system that you can buy set up for air bag mounts already installed or you can have it set up with coil overs. E mail me if you are interested.

Advantages, well, lighter weight I'm thinkin, ideal susp geometry, completly adjustable for stuff like your pinion angles and axle lift on takeoff, stronger, and damn look how easy exhaust would be! man I want one! those are some sweet setups.

4 link

Why dont you go to the friday night drags at Firebird or Speedworld? You might also try one of the friday or saturday night show & shines. There should be many examples at all.

Talking Here are two examples

Here are a couple. The one is a kit sold by several truck performance shops, the other is a home engineered and built tri-angulated 4-bar using an 8.2 10-bolt. My two cents worth... rico_bob

Lightbulb Here is my Home Built 4-bar

Okay, here is the Triangulated 4-Bar that I am building for my '57 Pickup. All parts were home engineered and shop built except for the threaded rod ends which were bought from a race parts supply shop.

The differential is a '69 Malibu 8.2 10-bolt. The eyes on the 10-bolt became the point of attachment for the triangulated bars. It is fun to do your own engineering! Of course the frame is up-side down in the photo ...Made it easy to build the 4-bar! My two cents worth... rico_bob
