ok i am split on the color the truck now, the inside accents were painted orange main color is white so i could go anywehre,

i had a few colors in my head,

matte finish orange/cream top with pearl in the whole thing and then the orange n white interior tuck n roll of course, with chrome reverse.

surfside turquoise/white top with teal n white interior. with supreme wheels.

or paint it yellow to match the racecar and toss cragars on it.

what do you guys think? i like them all so just seeing whateverbody else likes

Re: paint poll

Some free advice, for whatever it's worth:
~~Pick an exterior color based on what you like. But not necessarily based on the current interior color.
~~Everybody else will be seeing the exterior, much easier to change the interior color.
Good luck to you whichever way you end up going.

Re: paint poll

you'll never guess which way i voted....

(but then again, the orange/cream is also one of my favorites... Personally, if you'd said orange with WHITE top, I'd have voted that way!)

All your choices are great ones - I agree with Lakeroadster, I wouldn't alter an ext paint choice based on your current interior. In fact, I'd plan on pickin a stock interior color after you're all done - for some strange reason, i think the stock interior colors look best with whatever the exterior color is, and considering the limited interior color list, that's saying something. But whenver I see it done that way, looks good to me. (don't get me wrong, I've seen some SUPER color-coordinated interiors too, all depends on personal taste and how original/custom you want the ride to look when you're done. I like mine to look somewhat stock inside and out, but have a lot of subtle tricks, etc). And I'm still workin on that myself...

Can't wait to see the results!

Re: paint poll

The problem I have is where to two tone the paint...I have done it at least 3 differnt ways ....and I can never decide what looks best. I do agree on pick what you like and not based on the inside paint. It's nothing to repaint the inside while your there so pick what you like. I also like the idea of painting it to match something you already have. I have my 1965 truck in right now with my 1969 Z/28 and they are bothing getting painted to match ( something I have never done before )....Wish I new what to say but I am just as confused as you are about painting...lol
