Hello all!!!
Hey everyone hows it goin?
Well my name is Ryan and Im on this site for my gf Nicole. Her and I have been going out 3 1/2yrs now and has lived with me for 3 of those years. About 5 months ago her and I looked at a 74 C-10 shortbed 350/350 combo with a 4/6 drop. This thing was tore up!!! It was sitting about a year with all kinds spiders and who knows what living in it. Nicole saw a heap. . . I saw potential!!! After talking to her about how easy we can turn it around and clean it up get her driving within 6 months. She knew it would be a lot of work but for 800 bucks and being a 74 the exact year she wanted!!! We could not pass it up. So here we are 5 months later. . . Interior is cleaned up floor board is solid once again! Engine compartment is cleaned up and oil free! Underneath is undercoated frame primed (no paint wanted)! Rearend made solid once again! Suspension fully rebuilt! Brakes rebuilt! Wire harness cleaned up and made reliable! 350 was junked for a 454. 454 is now clean and ready to roar! We still have a lot of work ahead of us and some things have slowed us down. We still need to have the trans rebuilt with a mild stall, headlights, steering linkage, and a few more things for the engine. Oh and the small detail called paint lol. Shes still rockin the multi tone plus rust on the outside! LOL but paint is not needed to drive. All we want is to get her driving right now looks come later. The best part is about this truck. . . SHE is holding the wrench while I point and teach. Not many people agreed with Nicole buying this truck they all said it was a junker and nothing but scrap metal. They also said and are still saying that Im building it for her. . . Im not she is! All Im doing is the heavy lifting and torquing of head bolts and other tuff stuff. Well while they drive there honda p.o.s. she will be crusing in her FULLY built c-10. . .I mean scrap metal lol. Here are a few pics of where we are at on her truck now.
