Just picked up a 76 C10 LWB Chevy
I am trying to find some decent door panels for this truck.. I have looked at LMC but they show a full one or a carpeted one.
This truck has a half plastic looking one... Anyone know where to get this and why LMC does not show one?

Re: Just picked up a 76 C10 LWB Chevy
not sure what you are talking about, the plastic ones with wood trim kits, or maybe somebody done it up in carpet? The plastic ones with the carpet under them or what?
The door panel and that lower carpet are 2 pieces not just one.

Re: Just picked up a 76 C10 LWB Chevy
This truck has a plastic door panel that wraps from the bottom of the window to just past the arm rest. There is nothing on the bottom except for the metal part of the door...
I looked in LMC and they show a full plastic door panel or those little carpet pc's... I just want th efactory style stuff.. i will be using this truck as a truck... I can get a picture or two of them today when I get home... They are preety messed up from the sun...

Re: Just picked up a 76 C10 LWB Chevy
I think you are looking at the picture in lmc wrong. There is no such thing as a "full" plastic cover. THere is a deifference between years as far as styling and such but they ALL come down to the same point of about 10ish inches from the bottom of the door.

Re: Just picked up a 76 C10 LWB Chevy
the ones LMC has pictured are 77-80 or 81-87 but they do carry the 73-76 last I checked, or do you want to keep the 76 metal trim piece that goes in the panel

Re: Just picked up a 76 C10 LWB Chevy
Those are in better shape than the ones in my '76. I'm still debating on whether or not to restore mine. Good luck to ya Boosted, and nice dash pad!

Re: Just picked up a 76 C10 LWB Chevy
the 73-76 sit higher at the bottom- might be why they look wierd, my brother has a 76 and finding original doors has been tough! the clip holes were dif for the door panel for those 4 years only.

Re: Just picked up a 76 C10 LWB Chevy
Don't be confined by the LMC catalog when you're restoring that thing.
There are lots of much more customer friendly vendors out there to get your parts from.
