Here in Denver we are sitting comfortably at 0 degrees. It's not snowing though, so that's a plus.

Re: Winter storm

It is cold, windy, and snowing here. Yesterday we had light ice. Supposed to have 40+mph winds through out tomorrow, and end up with 10" or so. Who knows, it keeps changing.

Re: Winter storm

It's been coming down all day in KC. Haven't been outside to take a measurment, but looks like 8 to 10 inches so far. Weather bimbo says it's supposed to keep snowing until 10 or 11 p.m.

Re: Winter storm

Just been sleet and freezing rain/frozen snow. Nothing more than an inch or snow of a frozen crust to contend with...at this time.

I had one of those patio tables once with the "unbreakable glass" top. I guess it was never tested for the impact it took the second time a 40-60mph wind sailed it off the deck a few years back.

I do give that table some credit. It passed the first time it went off the deck and took a tumble straight on its top.

Since then I have learned that tables with a wire-mesh top last a lot longer.
Still hearing the sleet, snow is just north of here.

This made me laugh pretty good. I saw almost the same thing happen during a tornado. My uncle just said it would be fine because it was a new unbreakable glass. 30 seconds later it sailed off the deck on it's lid, then it flipped over and came back. Luckily when it bounced it exploded before hitting the patio door. Unbreakable? Yep sure is.
