Re: Floor
I remember someone doing it awhile back. They had to brace the crap out of the cab to keep it from flexing. If I'm not mistaken the entire floor section is $500 from Goodmark, or at least it was. Is yours completely rotten?

Re: Floor
The floor has some rust in it. I bought my project from a guy that started working on it and didn't do a very good job.

Re: Floor
Here are some, it wasn't that bad of a project. The floor came from Shermans for around $450

Re: Floor
Who is sherman? And how long did it take, and where did you pit the braces to hold the cab from moving?

Re: Floor
Sherman Auto Parts is here in Michigan I believe, I ordered it from a shop here in town and had it the next day. I just ran 2 braces from the front of the cab to the back, 2 off those to the floor and 1 across. Didn't move at all. The hardest part was drilling the welds out but again not that bad.

Re: Floor
Type "1-piece floor" into the search box (with the button that says "google") at the top of the page, be sure 67-72chevytrucks.com is selected.
There are several good threads on floor replacement, and a nice how-to thread.
