Unhappy Center cap question

thanks in advance!

I am trying to find replacement center caps for the slot mags I have on my 72 C10. Original shelby or Indy(I have a pair of each) would be great but any would be fine. The hole diameter is approx. 2.9 and 3.3 for both pairs. Anyone bought aftermarket caps or does anyone know where I can find them?

Re: Center cap question

if they are the standard 5 bolt slot mag center caps, then go to les schwab tires and tell them you want the center caps for the us indy slot mags. a company in washingtos called mht wheels bought the us wheel company and are able to get center caps that are a good fit. they are not the same as the origionals but they are better than no caps at all. i got my last set at schwab, about 2 weeks ago. i have probably 5 sets of mags and only about 6 caps total. you can buy them at swap meets somtimes. i have paid up to 25 bucks for a good one.

Re: Center cap question

99 percent of all the (old school) slot mags take a center cap that has 5 tiny ears on them that take 5, 8/32 bolt that holds them on to the wheels.
