I was gonna do a thread like this I have 3 old covers in the shed I'm trying to figure out how to make 1 work.I actually found the lift supports from a fiberglass topper beside the road, gotta love the Wyoming wind.

Yea I was thinking about making a aluminum frame then covering it with a peice of plexie glass. Just need to figure out the hinges and struts.

Does anyone know a good source for outdoor vinyl? My truck is royal blue and white and I don't know how black or white vinyl would look. I've heard bad things about dying vinyl for outdoor use. Any ideas for royal blue outdoor vinyl?

Thanks, I'm sure it could be done for less than $100. It weighs around 90lbs. If I made another one it would be the same.
