Question What year dash?

I bought a dash today, it has a clock and four idiot lights two in speedo and two in gas guage. the two in the speedo say, CHOKE and WHEEL LOCK in the gas gauge BRAKE and FASTEN BELTS. The speedo has the two little blue high beam holes and the gas gauge says unleaded only. The amp gauge has numbers, oil pressure is electronic and the printed circuit has a green tint to it. Any ideas of what year or what it came out of?

What does the speedo go up to? If it to 100 then probably 73-81? If it's to 85 the it's 82-late 80's early 90's (suburban)

Electric oil pressure started in 1980.
"amp" gauge use ended in 1975; then they were voltmeters.
Two idiot lamps in the speedo started in '79 or '80.
Yellow gauge needles and 80 mph speedo started in 1980.
It sounds like you have a 4WD dash from between 1980 and 86 or 87.

that dash has to be out of a big truck which did not follow the normal years of light pickups. Elect oil pressure actually atarted in 1978. Amp did end in 75 though so thats whats so confusing. DAVE

I have a couple dashes out of '74 or '75's and they both have blue printed circuits on the back. This one has a green one and I belive the speedo goes up to 100. I might just put this one in my truck but replace a few parts to make it look original.
