Re: Looking for pic's of shaved firewall's

Not to hi-jack the thread, but can any one tell me what that fitting is on the right?

I assume its for the wiring harness but does any one know any thing about it?

i was wondering how people are getting to the underside where the cab brace is? im not taking off my suburban body to make room, so its real tight under there...

I have done nothing to my cab braces except to blend them in with some weld and mud work..

Re: Looking for pic's of shaved firewall's

well, i meant cleaning them up. its tough to get along the sides of the brace at the bottom, and the bottom corner near the brace. i was gonna leave it and tape it off, then primer and paint from the section up..but from some of the pictures posted i think its going to be noticeable!

Re: Looking for pic's of shaved firewall's

What you could do to try and make them disappear is to black out that portion of the lower firewall..
