I know lmc has them, but a cheaper alternative would be the junk yard.

Available at NAPA, Rock Auto, etc. - should not be hard to get. I would stay away from used part due to possible pinhole issue just like you have.

Is this what you are looking for? I picked up an operational 250 from a 1980 Chev short box for the oil pan.

Where did you wind up finding one? I am having the same problem, mine is out of a 82-84 i believe, looks like greezer's only with 2 ports on the drivers side.

Re: 1977 thermostat housing inline 6 250
there are lots of different housings out there. I've seen them with one, two, or three holes on the drivers side. The angles of the outlet for the heater hose also varies.

Re: 1977 thermostat housing inline 6 250
I didn't relize these were in such high demand. There are 3 inline 6 trucks at my local junkyard, one is a 73 GMC a 75chevy and I think the other is a 80. If you are in anywhere near northern CO come take a look. I might be able to convince my wife to let me go next weekend and could try and pick those up for you. Anything else on inline 6ers worth picking up
