ever have one of those months

I have been trying to buy a truck for a month. I finally made an offer, it was excepted, if it wasn't sold before i got there.
Which is fine, i'm ok with that, heck if they get the full price, all the power to them. And i'm not driving back another 3 hours one way to leave a deposit or pay for it, when i can't get it for another month.

I planed to go get it on my last day off till next January, and its now behind a 10ft high snow bank and will be a couple weeks before i can get it out.

Been looking for this dang near exact truck for 5 years, and now a huge snowbank seperates me and the truck i've been searching for.

Unbelievable. I'm so sick of snow. should have ran for the south when i had the chance 25 years ago.

Rant over. Thanks for watching.

Re: ever have one of those months

I feel your pain. When I was looking for a truck all there was were running, some barely, parts trucks. Took a few to finaly find what I was after.

Sounds like you need to rent a bobcat or hire somebody with one to dig through that snow.

As for snow, Im so frickin sick of it! Been trying to talk my wife into moving to AZ for about 10 years. Pushing her real hard lately. Shes starting to think its not a bad idea.

Yea, the business its at has a loader, but apperently they don't have anyplace to put the pile. Who knows. I'll wait and see what happens.

Re: ever have one of those months

I am sure you already asked this, but why not ask them to wait until they are closed at night, move the pile of snow (with the loader) so the truck can be moved, and then move the snow back to where the truck is. They would gain space with the truck gone and the snow in it's place.

Good luck. Waiting sucks.

We are gonna try for next week, its suppose to rain sat and sunday, i'm hoping that will drop the snow banks down. And i'm gonna bribe someone to move the snow with a loader, hell i'll rent a damn crane at this point and pick it up from the street! lol
