Power Brakes......Yes or No?

OK, I have installed a Comp Cams "Big Mutha Thumpr" cam in my 64. Since this cam is so big and requires a great deal of vacum, I now figure i have 3 options for my power brakes;

#1- Install a vacum canister (looks bad under the hood)
#2- Install a vacum pump (expensive)
#3- Loose the power booster (no power)

So, if i choose option #3, how disappointed will i be running manual brake setup?

BTW........The entire brake system is off an 86 Chevy donor truck.

Option #4
Hydro boost. I got mine off an Astro van (not installed yet). Runs off power steering pump. No vacuum connection.
