Re: tbi swap help
What kind of cam are you running? I would use a 4bbl to TBI adapter, so you can keep your intake. You will need a place to mount the CTS in the intake, Throttle Body and assorted sensors, a knock sensor (just buy one new, they are pretty inexpensive, and tend to self destruct upon removal), ECM, and wiring harness. I did this swap recently in my '74, and it was pretty easy. If you can score a tank and lines out of an '87 truck that would be ideal, but get the lines from a 87-91 Sub or Blazer can be made to work, too. You can always run an inline pump if you don't want to swap out the tank, but you will need to make sure you run a return line back to the tank.
I used a wiring harness from www.fuelinjectionconnection.com , and was very happy with it. I didn't want the hassle of 25 year old wiring for $245, so I figured it was a good tradeoff. If you do end up going that direction, you can get the TBI parts from any GM TBI vehicle, but try to get a 7747 ECM (87-93 truck).

Re: tbi swap help
I'm not sure of the part #, I called Robert and got his recommendation. I would not go with too big of a cam when you re cam the engine. If it is too large, you may have to burn another chip.
