Power steering ?

I am trying to put power steering in my 68 SWB K10 my donor vehicle for some of my upgrades has been a 84 Blazer once I finish getting the box mounted to the frame can anyone tell me if I can use Any pump that I can get mounted to the engine or only certain pumps for that box

You dont say which engine. If you have a v/eight you will use brackets to match your water pump. Long and short pumps use different brackets. If six cyl you will need to find those brackets. Any pump should work. later 70's pumps use different fittings. Heres what the short pump brackets look like. Also with the 84 box it will use o ring fitting and the older boxes use inverted flares on the hoses. If you are buying a new pump get it with the same fittings as the box.
