68' chevy 50th Anniversary diecast model?

I like to collect the diecast and models for the 67-72 chevy trucks, but I don't think I've ever seen a diecast or model of the white and gold 50th anniversary trucks. If not, they should make them. They keep coming out with all these other styles for these years, but not the 68' gold and white that I'm aware of.

kc,
I've been looking too and the only one I could come up with was this one~

http://www.diecastfast.com/diecast/D.../H61/H61-50816

Unfortunately, they just went out of stock on it.

Lots of '72 stuff but no 67-69 models...

Re: 68' chevy 50th Anniversary diecast model?

Thanks, Mac.. Haven't seen that one yet. I guess I could always paint one up to look like the 50th Anniv. trucks. I just find it strange that they have none for the 50th anniv. trucks.

That 68 has a 69-72 hood and a suburban front roof.

I have that truck, it is not very good quality. They basically took they're 72 version and shoved a 67/68 grill on it and called it good. It's not!

Re: 68' chevy 50th Anniversary diecast model?

I don't know of any 50th replicas. Maybe one of the experts in the "Our Stuff In Scale" forum would know if there is one. I have painted some die cast before with great results. First Gear does make a34th or so scale '68 longbed that is a nice replica.

Re: 68' chevy 50th Anniversary diecast model?

Seems to me that I stumbled upon an 68 50/th desktop model with a pen holder on it one time on Ebay. There is some 68 50th dealer promotional stuff out there if you keep looking.

Re: 68' chevy 50th Anniversary diecast model?

I've also seen that 68 in person I wouldnt pay $10 much less $50. I was pretty excited until I took it out of the box.
I'm currently building a model of my boat so I'm on the lookout for a 67 to pull it.
