Sold the red truck tonight

I sold my red 87 tonight . I met a really cool board member and he has it on his trailer . My camera failed me so I am sure he will have pics to post . I think he will start a thread on it . I do like his user name . Squaredaway bought it .
Frank

This is the only pic I had turn out and it shows just how bad my camera is . The camera di no justice to this pic. Time for a new camera. Any suggestions for a good and affordable digi camera?

Re: Sold the red truck tonight

Thanks for the heads up . will be glad when I sell the black truck also so I can work on one of the others . I need a truck that sounds like yours. I really liked the sound when you drove by me one night in downtown Bryan. There was a nice echo that night and I could hear it for several blocks.

Re: Sold the red truck tonight

This was the first time I had an opportunity to use my new trailer. I like it. I had to fine tune the trailer brake control to get it to feel right. I hate to say it but my old trailer never had brakes . This feels much safer in traffic than I ever felt with the old trailer.

Re: Sold the red truck tonight

I bought a Canon sure shot for about $100 at Walmart a few months back. Just a basic camera for amateurs like me, but it holds a battery charge a long time and came with a memory card. I did not want a lot of bells and whistles, just point and shoot. If you check camera reviews, you will read a lot of discussion about extra features you likely will never use - so why pay for them?

Yes I did . You can read about the reason I sold it in the for sale post in the 73-87 trucks for sale section.

Re: Sold the red truck tonight

I talked to Reuben tonight and he made it to Florida safely . He said he had been cruising it around down on the Florida coast . Congrats on both of your accomplishments this weekend Reuben. Good luck in the future with both .

He will be going to NC but Bigarmzz is in West Virginia. Pretty close though.

I've taken a few pics this weekend. I also proposed to my girlfriend this weekend so I've had to balance out the two loves of my life... But I'm a real lucky man!!! I'll be posting pictures later this week but I'm having too much fun right now!!!

Re: Sold the red truck tonight

Reminds me of the time my wife turned me loose with the XTERRA so my brother-in-law and I could make a trip to Nebraska to pick up a bed for the dually. It was in a lot better shape than the one that was on the dually. I had to buy an adjustable hitch just so the trailer wouldn't drag. It was worth it!

You got a nice truck, Rueben!
