15x8 on 235/75/15
Just wondering if this is doable. I have heard, although its not "quite" ideal as opposed to say like a 255 or bigger, but I have heard that these will fit.
Truth to this? If so, anyone have any pics? I have heard the term marshmallow fit, but would like to see some pics if anyone has them. I have found a nice set of 15x8 rally's that Im looking at. Thanks in advance. |

My '90 Blazer came from the factory with 235/75-15s on 8" rallyes. It's definitely Kosher.

Re: 15x8 on 235/75/15
Not the best pic, but i believe these are 235/75/15. 7" on front, 8.25" on the rear.
You will have no problems running them.

Re: 15x8 on 235/75/15
I've got '96 sierra with 15x8 wheels and I run 235/75/15 tires. I think 15x7 wheels would be better with that tire size, but since the wheels were on the truck when I got it, I kept them.

Re: 15x8 on 235/75/15
if you look closely, you'll see the 7" rim holds the bead in while the 8.25" the bead is reaching for the rim. it's not a really bad look, but not the best. i wouldn't replace the tires until they need it, then go a little larger.

I have 255/60 15"s on my 8" rallys and I think they look great.

Re: 15x8 on 235/75/15
It somewhat depends on the tires. Cheapy tires have a narrow thread & don't look real good on 8 in. wheels. The better tires have more shoulders on them & fit good.
