interchange of a van and p/u

I have a 71-c10 p/u with no sway bar 2wd

the junkyard has a early chevy van (70-73)steel grill)
the door arm rest are the same, the cranks are the same..(inner doorpanel is metal)

it has dual rear wheels, and 1 ton front hubs(2wd)

question is, will the front sway bar fit a 71 c-10
the whole engine cradle and a arms look the same..

if not... will a 2wd 73-87 chevy truck one work??

thanks

I want to grap before they crush it..

I don't think the van bar will fit. The vans used a different frame setup. The 73 up will though. You will need to drill some holes.

Re: interchange of a van and p/u

the last van i messed with the front end was wider than the truck to include the sway bar but this was a 84 chevy van but should not be that different from the 70-73
