leaking break booser??

well after spending many hours cleaning and painting my break booster it decided to leak all the fluid out of the break booster and it destroyed my paint. but any way im not shure where to start with this problem it only leaked all the fluid out of the back resivor that dose not hold as much fluid.

so could this problem have something to do with where my vacum line runs to idk lol

or should i scrap it all and just go find a beakbooster of another truck and swap them out? if so has any one ever done this job? is it a real pain to do?

have any of you guys ever had this problem before any info will help thanks

can you see where all the break fluid eat away the paint. thats where its leaking.

Re: leaking break booser??

the issue was the master cylinder not your brake booster.. the seal went on it and it was sucked into the booster.. replace the master

Re: leaking break booser??

replacing a master cylinder is no biggie.just bleed it good by the instructions...if the booster diagphram was leaking it will make a whistle sound when applying the brake.
