Re: I bought in!

A few more pics... I believe the color is a factory color but I don't have the color code for it. If anyone can help with that, let me know. Before you ask, the color code on the glove box is white so it's not any help.

Re: I bought in!

That's gorgeous - and of course you are way ahead of most of us guys by buying a truck that's all there already. My neighbor has a '68 that color, and his is a stock color. Welcom to your new second home!

Re: I bought in!

Wow... thanks for the complements. She looks great in photos but there are enough mechanical issues to keep me busy!

I am considering changing the mirrors but I'm not sure to what. Also, I don't know if the mounting has been changed for the later mirrors so I don't know if there are any extra holes in the door. I'd love to hear some suggestions.

60RatRod; I'm gonna be pulling the mirrors apart this weekend. I have to tighten the adjustment on them as they tend to blow inward at freeway speeds. I'll snap a bunch of pics for you.

An as far as being an addict... well I've always been an addict, this is just switching substances!

My Garage currently has a '26 T Roadster, '64 VW Notchback, '67 VW Beetle and a '82 BMW 320i. The C-10 and the 320i are gonna swap daily driver duties, I'm probably gonna sell the '26 to pay off the truck and the VWs are long term projects.
