Good Place for Original Factory Pics?...
[/IMG]Hi everyone! My name is Ben and I am new to the site. I have enjoyed going through the threads and getting tons of ideas. I recently bought a Green 1972 Cheyenne Super with a 350. I will get some pics up soon but I am anxious to get started on rebuilding and restoring. I find a lot of custom restorations but I have a hard time finding good interior Factory restorations. Can anyone tell me where there might be a good site that I could find original interior pics? Thanks and looking forward to my new hobby!

Hi BEN! from the Heart of Arkansas. You've learned a valuable bit of knowledge that can be found here. I've been here for 10 years, this summer. Don't regret it a bit. Ante up for the site support and reap more benefits.

Re: Good Place for Original Factory Pics?...
welcome to the board, great looking truck you got there. I like the factory appearing interiors/exteriors on these trucks. I'm not into the custom stuff at all!!!
lower that truck and get started!!!! |

Welcome to the board! Very nice truck you have there!
I'm in the process of restoring (frame off) a Cheyenne Super SWB BB truck. Have all original parts going into the truck. No completed pictures yet but I can help you find places to source the parts from. Check out my build when you get a chance.

Thanks! I agree... I want to go all original. What do you recommend as far as lowering?

Re: Good Place for Original Factory Pics?...
vendor: ECE (early classic enterprises)
Depending on how low you want to go. A simple sprint swap may work for you(2/4 drop) or if you want a little lower then springs/spindles in the front and springs/blocks in the rear. |

Re: Good Place for Original Factory Pics?...
I'll pm you my number. Check out my other links to the Super Chevy show coming up and the swap meet which will be a good place to source parts.

Re: Good Place for Original Factory Pics?...
Great looking truck! The only things that I've seen in your interior that aren't stock are the steering wheel, glove box door, door locks, door panels, radio and your seat cover. Maybe the paint color too, but I wouldn't change it. The rest of it will be pretty easy except the radio.

Re: Good Place for Original Factory Pics?...
WELCOME from Maryland! Is the SPID still on the glovebox door? What does it say? We can show you your exact interior.
So was GM...damn good looking work trucks at that!
