Steering shaft for dropmember 67-72

Does anyone have some pics of the steering shaft on dropmember 67-72 trucks running power racks. I know I saw some in build thread but I cant seem to find them again.

Re: Steering shaft for dropmember 67-72

Hey Nate. I saw that one and wasnt sure it was how it was done on the 67-72. I saw a list of parts on another thread that was calling for 3 u-joints, a support bearing, and a steering shaft, all unisteer products. They were part numbers 8050880,8050300,8050240,8050770,8050520. It looks like that setup only uses 2 u-joints and a steering shaft. Is that how its done now?

The majority will be done with only two joints and a shaft. Some of the big block applications and other set-ups with exhaust clearance concerns may have to run three joints, and idler, and a shaft.

Nate, do you have the part numbers for the joints and shaft? I have a gift certificate for unisteer and want to make sure I get the right stuff. I have a stock column and will be using rack number 8010020.
