things that don't make sense

Just IMing with Brandon, he showed me an ebay auction that got us talking about things on trucks that just don't make sense. The truck in the auction is being built as a drag truck, he even removed the front wheel tubs to reduce weight, BUT it has a sun visor on it! Great for the aerodynamics!
Here's another I've seen, people who have a cowl induction hood and put a bugshield on it. WTF?
B mentioned lowriders with cab steps!

Anyone seen any others? I don't mean the typical ricer stuff. If you're offended by any of these, take a long, hard look at your truck.

I hate a lowered sprt truck with a HD style bumper like mentioned in another thread here. Also what about big 4x4 trucks lifted with the bicycle size tires. Another one is a sport style truck lowered with nice wheels being used as a work truck with a tool box in back that goes across the bed!! Yes I've seen it!!

Forgot about something I've personally done. When I lowered my truck I took the bed off. I was doing pavement work at the time and had a trailer I used to keep the truck clean. Here I was driving around town with a slammed truck, no bed, towing a utility trailer. I later saw people I knew who had seen me, they told me how much they and their friends were laughing at me.

How about two wheel drive trucks with mud grips all the way around?
Not trying to offend anyone, I just don't see the point

Your joke was funny, but it was even better that you came back to clarify about the girlfriend.

LMAO I've got AT's all the way around as well. I'll get some cheap street tires for the front soon since my tires are worn out up there. No need for $$$$ tires with a front end that needs work.

Lifted 4WD trucks with running boards...isn't the point of lifting a truck to gain ground clearance? Besides, they just look ghey!

How about all the new "stick-on" hood scoops...seems as if everybody is putting them on!

stick-on hood scoop = YUK!

stick-on hood scoop with no hole to make it functional = DOUBLE YUK!

A few years ago I saw a truck that had some of the handicap hand rails from a public bathroom mounted to his bed rails. That seems pretty bad. Can anyone top that?

Hmm... I might. About a year ago I saw a little tiny Dodge car. It was missing its hood. Guess what they had hooked up to it... A LEAF BLOWER. Thats right, they had a leaf blower hooked up to the engine!!! I was laughing so hard, I had people honking at me! He mush have had an electric fan die or he was trying to "supercharge" it.
