Correct intake for heads
Hi guys - This is my first time posting here but have been following for quite a bit. I recently started my own project. I have an 85 chevy c10. I am trying to find the correct intake manifold to go with the setup the truck came with. Here are the details for the engine and heads.
Engine - 350 casting #14093638 (86 - 87) Heads - casting #14102193 (TBI heads) 750 cfm Edlebrock carburetor This is what came with the truck. It had an old iron intake but its in pretty bad shape. Block is rebuilt and heads have just been refreshed. I've asked around but have gotten different answers as to what intake I should buy. From my research, the heads are for TBI intakes. What would be the correct "carb" intake to go on these heads? Just looking to have a daily driver for now. Maybe a performer intake...? I've seen the answer here before but for the life of me I can't seem to find it. Thanks for your help. Last edited by chukis85c10; 03-25-2011 at 01:50 AM. |

Re: Correct intake for heads
Thanks! This gives me a better idea of what I need to be looking for. I'll post some part # once I find the intake.

Re: Correct intake for heads
I ended up getting the Edelbrock 2104 Performer.
