Awesome truck, but really disappointed by the engine bay. Looks like it hasn't been dusted in 30+ years and it doesn't make sense given how nice the exterior is.

Impossible, GM didn't build a 73-87 8'-6" long bed.

There is a lot to like about that truck . I am confused about the wood grain gauge panel in a Base truck but it looks original . I would like to have it .
Hey , I just came into a little money and an open spot in the garage.
Must resist.

My first thought was "I wonder when Frank is going to pick that up". Your reputation proceeds you, Mr. Monroe.

someone on the board should go and meet with the seller and take some closer pics for those members who would benifit from seeing an original unmolested round eye. Anyone here from that area?

Re: If I had the cash..this would be mine!

the paint looks very smooth on that truck . My black truck was nice but you could see that the paint was original and it had its orange peel texture and all still intact. You could still see all of the spot welds in every panel on my truck. It had never been sanded and buffed . My orange and white 73 Cheyenne Super was original and looked great but someone had cut and polished it . The paint on that blue truck could be original . If it has been cut/polished it will look good . Pics make them all look better and that may be the case with the truck we are discussing. It also may just be that nice . Detailing a truck can really bring out the positives . I would like to see it in person . I would like to see the inside of the bed . It looks like it has some sort of liner in it but I cant tell if it is plastic or sprayed in . It is a nice truck either way . Think of it like this. A NOS cargo light sells for over $400, headlight buckets for over $600 ,and a pair of NOS vent windows without the glass went for over $700 the other night . These trucks are getting more popular and nice original examples will always bring good money. I wonder where this one will end up ?
