shaved dash pad

Me and my buddies installed a AC dash in my 68 cst. After we got it welded in we decided to get rid of the dashpad. Alot of these ideas came from this site, just wanted to say thanks! The info on here is unending.

Re: shaved dash pad

I like that. It's funny, for some reason just this weekend I was thinking maybe my li'l mild custom would be cool with this trick. It's subtle and clean. I don't consider that "shaving",though. More like "filling". The term shaving comes from removing trim or body features to create a smoother look.

Re: shaved dash pad

I really like it. It's a mod that I have been considering for years. Yours looks even better than I imagined. Nice work.

Re: shaved dash pad

They look good all slicked out. For those of you that have them painted already, how bad is the reflection? It seems that the glossy finish would cause a serious glare.
