New C10 owner with lowering question

I just bought my 69 2 weeks ago. It has the drum brakes still on the front. I want to do a mild drop on the truck since it sits like a 4X4. The truck sits fairly level and from the ground to top of the wheel wells is 38". I know I can do a 3" drop spring for the front but what about the rear? It is coil springs as well. To keep it level go with a 3" in the back? Was thinking a 3/5 but would the back end be lower? Thanks for any info as I have never had a C10 but finnally got one.

The TJ coils, do I need rear coils off a TJ? Do they bolt right in?

They do bolt right in, and you can find them easily and inexpensive. $20 for mine, but if you plan to use your truck to carry or haul they are not a good idea. They bottom out fairly easily.
