02 silverado problems

pulled into my dorm last night and my truck started missing, check engine light came on and would flash whenever you gave it some gas. Was raining the whole way here but ive never had any problem with water before. Any ideas? i already plan on running the code at autozone after class

Is it missing all of the time or does it come and go? Was Autozone able to tell you what cyl's were missing? From what you have, I'd start by checking fuel pressure and battery connections.

I had something similar once, and it turned out that i had bought bad gas from a unknown brand gas station. Any chance you filled up someplace similar?

Re: 02 silverado problems

My 01 did this and it turned out that the distributor had a hair line crack in it.. When it would get warm out or rain it would miss and carry on. Took me forever to figure it out....
