vin decoding
I think this is a 55 GMC; 15224PZ1344
and i believe this one is a 55 chevy; 15224CZ1872 |

both come out as a 61 pickup

Going by LMC's Identification charts, both are GMC, 54-55

Thanks for the vote of confidence but they may well be earlier than 61. I used the Stovebolt vin buster and its better on Chevy than GMC. I'm not up on GMC numbers.
I did a little more research and his is what they are 15224PZ1344 1954 3/4T Long Bed with a 248 made in the Pontiac Mich plant 15224CZ1872 1954 3/4T Long Bed with a 248 made in Oakland Ca plant |
