Exclamation ...lowering my '59.

So I tuned her up, cleaned up the wiring, and now it's time to get her a little lower. I've looked at numerous articles and pictures of other trucks and this is what i'm thinking.

I found a kit that has 3" lowering spring for the front, and 4" in the rear. The kit has all of the hardware and shocks for about a grand. I know I can just flip the rear axle, and do the leafs in the front, but I plan on keeping this thing mostly stock for a while. My question s has anyone had issues with bottoming out? What tire size should I run on the stock steelies?

If anyone has ideas, please bring the on!!!

Thanks,

Chops
