Customized plates
Not sure if its ok to post this here or if it needs to go to GD.
Im going to the DMV next week to register my burb here in Fl. I want to go with something personalized, but want to have a couple backup ideas incase what I pick is taken. Any suggestions?

check online . i was just on there yesterday it tells you if they are available.. at least in ca it does..

I just talked to the guy at DMV, I have to send in my request and wait to see if its taken, Floriduh cant make anything easy, lol

EDIT.. Went looking anyways, found a site that says I can check instantly....

In NJ, you just have to fill out a form and then they send you a password and you can check on available custom plates in real time. I want a custom plate, but my firefighter plates are more valuable when dealing with the fuzz

I had a 67 Lemans and the plate was "LXVII", roman numerals for 67! So, how about "LXXI"

How many characters can you use? some of these are long. CA can only use 7.
