Removing a Fleetside rear bed cross sill
This is a dumb question, but how do you remove the rear bed cross sill from the Fleetside bedsides? Is it just bolted on or welded and bolted? I've done this in the past and it ended up being a butcher job due to rust and welds. My current bedsides and rear sill are too nice to mess up. It will make bodywork so much easier having this apart. Thanks.

4 bolts on each side, and 2 spot welds to grind. One spot weld on top of the cross sill where the bedside and wood meets. Wish i had a pic.

And a spot weld here. If you can see the red mark.
