Howdy. Glad I found this forum as I'm sure I'll have questions as time goes on.
Last year a bought a beautiful 1971 Cheyenne 3/4 ton, 4WD, with a crate 350, holley 4BBL, Turbo 400 A/T. Older frame off resto with a beautiful blue/white paint job. I'm pert danged happy with "Babe, the Blue Ox". I'd like to install a set of steps and an in-cab grab bar to make it easier for my woman to get in and out. Who's the vendor of choice for things like that? I also understand I am supposed to have a "Disc Brake" decal on the tailgate which I understand is available from LMC. Can anyone enlighten me as to the correct location? My other truck is a 1963 Studebaker Champ 289, 2BBL. 2WD, A/T Almost all original. Had "Misty Blue: up to 88 MPH! She didn't like it. Shake rattle and roll baby! I'm away at work now and won't be home til June so I can't post pics, but I will. |

Re: Newbie
Welcome aboard. You are correct as 71 had a disc brake decal on the upper left corner of the tailgate. There were pics awhile back on here and it looked like it was somewhat random as to an exact location. I will post a pic if i find one.
